Tour details
After summer stagnation, nature comes alive again in autumn, with atmospheric foggy mornings and more and more colors every day. During the trip we hope to see and photograph some of the species listed below:
birds:
crane hides (temporary tents and mobile): Cranes (roosting), White-tailed Eagle, White Egret, Grey Heron, Marsh Harrier, Whooper Swan, geese, waders etc.
raptor hides (permanent): Goshawk, Common Buzzard, Sparrowhawk, chances for White-tailed Eagle
reflection pool/feeder hides (permanent): Sparrowhawk, Blackbird, Goldfinch, Siskin, Greenfinch, Hawfinch, Middle Spotted Woodpecker, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Wren, Robin, Bullfinch, Tits and more
Pygmy Owl sometimes possible on a separate forest excursion.
mammals:
main: European Bison, additional: Elk, Red Deer, Roe Deer, Red Fox
Note! We cannot guarantee any of the species listed above. The success will depend on the general wildlife situation, weather and water level which is different every year. Esp. crane places accessibility depends on water level very much!
The photo sessions will usually take place early in the morning (ca. 4h) and in the afternoon/evening (ca. 4-6h) to take advantage of the best light and best wildlife activity. In the middle of the day you will have a short break to have breakfast and relax.
We will work in two 4-person groups.
The itinerary can be cut to your needs!
Day 1 - arrival in Warsaw airport, transfer to Bialowieza, ca. 4h, 230 km, dinner
Day 2 - early morning bison safari / crane hide session (two groups), breakfast, afternoon guided nature walk in the oldest part of the Bialowieza National Park , (7km walk, ca. 3-4 hours), dinner
Day 3 - crane hide session / early morning bison safari (two groups), breakfast, afternoon hide sessions, dinner
Day 4 - early morning bison safari / crane hide session (two groups), breakfast, afternoon hide sessions, dinner
Day 5 - crane hide session / early morning bison safari (two groups), breakfast, afternoon hide sessions, dinner
Day 6 - breakfast, departure and transfer to Warsaw airport, ca. 4h, 230 km

Note on the airport transfer: We offer only one airport transfer (both directions) for the whole group by minibus. Approximate departure time from the Warsaw Chopin airport: 14.00. On the last day your flight home should not be earlier than at 15.00.
